Abbi Jacobson, co-star and co-creator of Comedy Central’s Broad City, has come out as bisexual. She has revealed she is open to dating women.
She has opened up about her sexuality in a new interview with Vanity Fair, telling the magazine,
I kind of go both ways.
I date men and women. They have to be funny, doing something they love. I don’t know — I’ve never really been interviewed about this before.
Rumors about Jacobson’s sexuality have been swirling over a while now, Everyone was so keen on her relationship with fellow low key queer celebrity Carrie Brownstein, Jacobson didn’t reference her relationship with Brownstein directly, but she did state that she’s single, so you still have a chance! Just kidding.
Jacobson, best known for her role alongside Ilana Glazer on comedy series Broad City, concluded by hinting that she was single and open to dating.
Jacobson is currently receiving strong reviews for her dramatic turn in the film 6 Balloons, which was released to Netflix last month, in which she costars with Dave Franco, shows the normally comic actress in a dramatic role. A second season of her modern art podcast, titled A Piece of Work, will also be released soon. The actress will also be voice acting in the upcoming animated Netflix show , Disenchantment, where she’ll be playing an alcoholic medieval princess named Bean.
